Assuming you have completed many of the recipes from the first round, here we want to fill in any gaps you might be feeling in your pantry or freezer.

  • The carrots and ginger are both wonderful to rice and freeze so they can be pulled together for a quick Grain Bowl or family meal. 

  • You can also easily put together a Carrot Based Soup, we have once perfect for early postpartum below.

  • The frozen ground bison is a lean, iron rich meat that can be used in a few ways.  We would love you to consider making the Hand-Pies as they make the perfect one handed snack when you are breastfeeding.  If that feels like more work than you'd like to do, the Bison Mix is great to prep and put in Grain Bowls or you can can check the Master Recipe List for some simple soup ideas.  Also good to note that you can replace ground beef in any bison recipe if you'd like to do more.

  • It's also time to get some breakfast oats going.  While these are great to whip up fresh, getting a few bowls in the freezer layered with the Mixed Berry Jam will make mornings a bit easier.
