Fourth Trimester with more impactful

and measurable solutions.

The Postpartum Body is unlike any other time in a person's life. The unique demands mean we must have a deeper understanding on what's going on and how we work to deeply nourish it. This is a piece of the puzzle that has been missing in many people's life, leaving them feeling run down, depleted, and open to more severe outcomes. We cover digestion, gut rebuilding, hormone-balancing,

how to blood build as well as an overview of

Postnatal Depletion Spectrum.

Digging in deeper, a few simple ways we can make our food work harder for us and how we can enlist the help of loved ones to better harness the power of food.  Here we talk about how to increase nutrients in our food with bio-availablity. We also discuss how enhance flavors so all things are full of satiating tastes.

Getting the kitchen in order feels good. Complete a kitchen audit, double check that you have all the things you need from tools and equipment to quick grab printables, conversion charts.  We cover basic tools + equipment that you probably already have and some additions that might be worth considering. Quick start checklists, shopping lists, customizable meals plans and more. Love the Instant Pot or Slow Cooker -we've got that covered too.

You can't do this alone - and quite frankly we don't want you to.  Creating your circles of support and empowering them how to help you in a way that aligns with your goals.  We also talk about what's great to eat when you are out and about or just want some take out.

The cornerstone of this Food as Medicine

are these powerhouse ingredients. We focus in on accessible, and familiar foods as well as items that can be sourced easily. Sorted alphabetically

and linked to specific recipes, this

section will be a favorite.

Embarking on the breast/chest feeding journey is a dance with ups and downs. Fueling and hydrating your body in supportive ways can deeply impact the journey.  Understanding how nursing can further deplete the body and  how to work towards recovering these nutrients.

You are forever postpartum so what happens after our first 42 days. We talk about the healing arc, recommended labwork and how to support the body with extended breastfeeding.

From labor snacks to planning for a hospital or home birth, the resource section contains targeted resources from informed decision making to pelvic floor advocacy.

The largest of it's kind - the Recipe database is packed with recipes for the postpartum time.  Curated and guest recipes to our own crafted postpartum recipes created by a Holistic Nutritionist.

"When I asked Meg to explain why nutrition is important after we give birth, she explained that when many people get pregnant, their bodies don’t necessarily have the right balance of essential nutrients.  This could be for a variety of reasons, including less than ideal diets or even a genetic predisposition to not absorb nutrients as easily as others do.

Add to that reality the fact that many of the nutrients we absorb when we are pregnant or bodyfeeding goes to our babies.  And let’s not forget, the human body does an astonishing amount of work as it grows a baby (or two or three), births those babies (vaginally or surgically) and then starts the lactation process."

INCLUDED WITH TIER III ENROLLMENT

DURING THESE THREE PRIVATE SESSIONS.....

The changes in the postpartum can be profound and these ongoing sessions are flexible and open. While I do not come into these meetings with a particular agenda, in general, we will cover a lot of ground, dive deeper into your needs and  address ongoing concern, changes and challenges.

The timing and topics are flexible to meet your needs however, generally it is recommended we have one meeting in the Third Trimester, one in the early postpartum and one in the first three months. We can add more sessions if you'd like.

Third Trimester meeting  tends to center around onboarding, planning, and preparations.

The second session is in the early postpartum is to discuss your labor and delivery and some methods to replete yourself based on what's happened and what's happening.

The third session address ongoing challenges and we work to deepen balancing and repletion.

There is always the opportunity to discuss specific cooking guidance, powerhouse foods, professional referrals and what ever else may be on your mind.
